I am really pleased to announce that This too shall pass  (a working title), an anthology of mental health guest posts and poetry from No wriggling out of writing  has a publisher. 

Reluctant to self-publish without more experience (or the necessary finances) I approached Dotterel Press, a social enterprise micro-publisher that offers support to new writers who might otherwise find the traditional publishing industry hard to break into. Crucially for me, Dotterel Press don't aim to make money, either for themselves or for their authors;  it raises funds for a nominated charity with each of the titles it publishes. As you may already know, the book will raise money for a nominated mental health charity.

Dotterel also promotes innovative and creative writing and I am keen to showcase many of those writers kind enough to share their experiences with a wider audience via my mental health monthly blog posts.

So watch this space! I am currently working on the final version of my manuscript that will then go into Dotterel's editing and copy-editing process. Then it will be down to me to proof-read - something I would normally be doing to support others. Incredibly exciting.

I am developing a marketing plan alongside the manuscript and if anyone has any ideas for outlets for the book or marketing suggestions I would love your comments.
