What was once ‘This too shall pass’ is now has the working title ‘Dandelions and Bad Hair Days’ inspired by one of the posts in what is becoming a truly international anthology of posts relating to mental health and well-being. Although the majority of the contributors, many already featured on my monthly blog guest spot, come from Britain others are from as far afield as Australia, America and Kenya. All have been open about their own experience and the stories are by turn moving, inspiring and uplifting.
The book will be supported by a mental health charity (to be announced) and when we have made a profit (which I hope you will help us achieve!) ALL that profit will be sent to that charity and to any other mental health charity nominated by contributors.
If you would like to place an advance order (with no commitment to buy at this stage) it will help us determine the size of the first print run and ease the worries of a nervous publisher. As they too are committed to publishing the book without taking any of the profits I would like to take as much worry as possible from their shoulders…
